STAND UP FOR NEBRASKA IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES

Nebraska Appleseed is asking residents of Nebraska to stand up for our neighbors who are immigrant or refugee Nebraskans.
Recent executive orders from President Trump target immigrants and refugees who came to Nebraska to build a better life and find a safe home. NE Appleseed stated that these orders would drive a wedge between Nebraska communities, create distrust of law enforcement, and send a dangerous message to immigrant and refugee neighbors.
NE Appleseed is asking to call your U.S. Senators and your Congressman and tell them Nebraskans value welcoming new neighbors and providing a safe home to those who are escaping danger and do not hesitate to leave a message with their staff.
