The “Bears” of Bryan High School have an intense end to the week as their teams face Omaha South, Omaha North and South Sioux City high schools in football, volleyball, tennis and softball.

The Bryan High School girls’ varsity volleyball team will host Omaha North and South high schools at , at 4:30p.m. Thursday on Bryan’s home courts, 4700 Giles Rd. The Bryan girls have had an average start to their 2021 to 2022 season, carrying two wins and three losses in their first five games.

On Friday at 7 p.m., the Bryan Football boys varsity team will host South Sioux City High School at Bryan’s home field, 4700 Giles Rd. Both teams come from losing their first three games and are anticipated to give everything to get their first win on Friday.

Tennis matches start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, when the Bears face Omaha North’s team at North’s courts, located at 4410 N 36th St. Also on Saturday at 9 a.m., Bryan Softball  Girls Varsity will play Plattsmouth High School in Rhylander Park in Plattsmouth, just south of the city of Omaha.

It is worth noting that to attend the high school matches on Saturday, you must have the invitation from the school. For more details on athletic events for the season, visit the website.
