Nowadays, with the modernization of relationships and with the changes from traditional marketing to
digital marketing, a new job has gained a lot of strength: the Blogger. This is something that for some is a
job, but that for others like Gaby Moreno, it is a profession.
“Yes, I am a blogger, and I’m very proud of doing something that I really like, from my own space and with
the content I want. It’s something I’ve dreamt of doing since I was a little girl.”
Gaby Moreno started her professional journey in media back in 2011 in Wichita Kansas, when she was
invited to participate as a radio presenter in a local radio station.
“Since back when I was a young girl my aunt would record me while I spoke in front of a mirror, playing
being the host of an imaginary show like the one of Cristina Saralegui,” remembered Moreno.
Gaby, who is originally from Chihuahua, has found a new passion in her work as a Blogger, a job that
does not distract her from her work on radio and television, something she continues to do to this day.
“Since back when I started out as a blogger, I have done more interviews than all the ones I had done
during my previous six years working in the radio,” said Moreno. “This is completely different, because
you directly interact with people and experience their reaction to your work, and they end up being an
hour long, something that you can’t do in other media since their total airtime is highly controlled.”
Gaby Moreno manages her own website and online social media presence. She has made it, so her
hobby has become part of her routine, always looking forward to informing and entertaining people. She
broadcasts two or three times a week, usually starting at 8 p.m.
“I have a very specific personality, so I try not to do mechanical question and answer sessions. Instead, I
have a nice chat with my guest. I like to interact with them with questions, challenges and even questions
from the audience.”
From painters to musicians to entrepreneurs, Gaby Moreno has interviewed them all. People from Spain,
Mexico, and the United States link up with her to be the star that is present in her digital space.
She is autonomous for this job, and she has her own setting, and she controls all aspects that, in the end,
allow me to offer a local product that seeks to cross borders.
“I am aware that to become a successful Blogger I need to have a lot of patience and discipline, but I also
need to love what I’m doing, and that is precisely what is going in my case. I am very passionate about
this project, and this is a must for being successful in this journey. I’m aware that things don’t always work
out and that I must be ready to fail and start over again. But, like with everything in life, you have to be
strong enough to move towards your objectives,” emphasized Moreno.
For now, Gaby Moreno presents a new entertainment option in digital media. While it is true that anyone
can create a blog and become a blogger, not everyone has the charisma and presence for this new
entertainer on social media who continue to gain more and more followers.
