have touched the lives of our patients with their kindness and compassion. Cocktails, Silent Auction,
Dinner with Guest Speaker: Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, founder and director of The Trauma
Stewardship Institute and author of “Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self
While Caring for Others.” While caring for others is rewarding work, continuous compassionate
actions can take a toll on caregivers. With that perspective in mind, van Dernoot Lipsky will speak
about the importance of self-care for those who work in health care or other human service
professions.
