The Board of Directors of the Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation (MLCDC) adopted and approved the Mission Statement, “MLCDC provides Latinos with opportunities to generate economic growth by providing financial products, development services and community development that advances their ability to develop a sustainable future in the Midlands.”
The same week, the MLCDC granted a loan fund to Floridalma Herrera to support the family owned Chiltepes Restaurant. The first Guatemalan restaurant in Omaha, started in December 2016, is located at 4833 South 24th Street.
MLCDC stated they are happy to be part of this wonderful business and look forward to seeing them grow.
